Gautam Buddha Nagar. On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, the Pahal Welfare Foundation organized a blanket distribution drive for the needy, the poor, and the destitute. The event took place in Sector-10, Greater Noida West, Gautam Buddha Nagar.
The primary objective of this service initiative was to provide relief to those battling the winter cold and to strengthen the spirit of service, cooperation, and humanity within society. During the event, members of the foundation distributed blankets to the elderly, daily wage laborers, workers, the destitute, and the economically disadvantaged. A sense of relief and contentment was clearly visible on the faces of the beneficiaries upon receiving the blankets.
Speaking on the occasion, the organization's President, Mr. D.K. Singh, said, "Makar Sankranti is not merely a festival; it conveys a message of service and charity. It is the constant endeavor of the Pahal Welfare Foundation to ensure that aid reaches the person standing at the very last rung of society. In the future, too, the organization will continue to serve society through initiatives related to education, healthcare, food distribution, and other public welfare programs."
