• Donate — name, email, phone, address, and PAN (only if you request an 80G tax receipt). Payment card/UPI details are processed directly by Razorpay and never touch our servers.
• Apply for membership — personal details, photo, and ID proof. ID documents are stored in a private area accessible only to authorized administrators.
• Volunteer or register for events — contact details, skills, and availability.
• Contact us — name, contact details, and your message.

How we use it

• To issue 80G donation receipts and maintain donation records as required by Indian tax law.
• To process membership applications and issue membership cards.
• To contact you about events, drives, or your enquiries.
• To meet legal and audit obligations of a registered non-profit.

What we do NOT do

• We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
• We do not display donor names publicly if you choose to donate anonymously.
• We do not store payment credentials — payments are handled by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant).

Data security & retention

Data is stored on secured servers with HTTPS encryption in transit. ID proofs are kept in a non-public directory with admin-only access. Donation records are retained as required under the Income Tax Act; you may request correction or deletion of other personal data by writing to info@pahalwelfarefoundation.org.

Cookies & analytics

We use a session cookie (required for forms/login) and a language-preference cookie. If analytics is enabled, aggregated usage statistics are collected; no personal profiles are built.
