Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for payments made to Pahal Welfare Foundation (CIN U85109UP2024NPL197524, PAN AAOCP4852G), a registered non-profit organisation based in Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh, India. Online payments on this website are processed securely through Razorpay.

Donations are voluntary and non-refundable

Donations made to Pahal Welfare Foundation are voluntary contributions towards our charitable objectives. Because funds are put to work on the ground soon after they are received, donations are generally non-refundable and non-cancellable once a payment is completed.

When we do issue a refund

We will review and, where verified, refund a payment in these cases:

• Duplicate payment — you were charged more than once for the same donation.
• Technical error — an amount was deducted but the donation did not register on our website, or the amount charged differs from the amount you intended to give.
• Unauthorised transaction — a payment was made from your account without your consent.

How to request a refund

Write to us at info@pahalwelfarefoundation.org (or call +91 9560-582-244) within 7 days of the transaction, including:

• the donor's name and registered email/phone,
• the amount and date of the transaction, and
• the payment/reference ID (from your receipt or bank/UPI statement).

Processing time

Verified refunds are approved within 5–7 working days of your request and credited back to the original payment method (card, UPI, netbanking or wallet). Once processed by us, it may take an additional 5–7 working days for your bank or payment provider to reflect the amount, per their timelines. We do not refund to a different account or by any other method.

80G tax receipts

If an 80G tax-exemption receipt has already been issued for a donation that is later refunded, that receipt stands cancelled and must not be used for any tax claim.

Membership fees

Membership fees, where applicable, are payable on approval of a membership application and are non-refundable once membership has been granted, save for the duplicate/technical/unauthorised cases described above.
