A grand 'Mata Ki Chowki' (devotional gathering dedicated to the Goddess) was organized on Monday, September 26, 2022—the first day of Navratri—at 14 Avenue, Gaur City. More than five thousand residents of the society participated in the event.
Popular MLA Shri Tejpal Nagar (affectionately known as 'Guru Ji'), present as the chief guest, expressed the collective wish that the Goddess would bestow happiness and prosperity upon everyone.
Devotees were captivated by the popular devotional song "Gale Mein Hai Mundon Ki Mala, Kali Kali Mahakali" performed at the event. Additionally, artists dressed as Lord Hanuman (Bajrang Bali), the 'Bandar Sena' (Monkey Army), Shri Krishna and Sudama, Radha-Krishna, Mata Kalka, and Shera Wali Maa (Goddess riding a lion) greatly delighted the children. Special *Prasad* suitable for those observing the Navratri fast was also successfully arranged for all devotees.
This grand event was organized with the immense support of various groups and businesses—including Pahal Welfare Foundation, Mr. German Laundry, Sheelu General Store, Anaz & Veg Tent Caterers, Cycle Sports & Toys World, and Priya Enterprises—along with the residents themselves.
