A large-scale public dialogue event was organized today at Gaur City, 14 Avenue, Greater Noida West, through the joint efforts of the Pahal Welfare Foundation and DDRWA. Hundreds of Greater Noida West residents attended, presenting public grievances to the police administration. Dignitaries present at the event included DCP (Central) Shri Ram Badan Singh, Additional DCP Shri Rajiv Kumar Dixit, ACP Shri R.C. Pandey, Senior Traffic Inspector Shri C.P. Mishra, SHO Shri Anil Rajput, and the Police Post In-charges for Gaur City-1 (Shri Amit Kumar Balian) and Gaur City-2 (Shri Pramod Kumar).
Pahal Foundation President Shri D.K. Singh stated that the organization submitted a written letter to DCP (Central) Shri Ram Badan Singh detailing public issues in the Gaur City area and presented these concerns before the officials present; the DCP assured that these matters would be resolved as soon as possible.
DDRWA Senior Vice President Shri Sanjeev Kumar highlighted key issues facing the Gaur City area, including the menace of stray dogs and monkeys, traffic problems, the need for automatic traffic signal systems at intersections, the installation of CCTV cameras in local markets and at all intersections, incidents of theft, the relocation of illegal local markets from main roads to authorized vending zones, increased police patrolling at night for security, and the construction of a foot-overbridge and a U-turn at a suitable location for Gaur City-2 to prevent accidents caused by speeding vehicles.
DDRWA President Shri N.P. Singh addressed the escalating problem of monkeys and stray dogs in the Gaur City area, stating that the primary responsibility for managing these issues lies with the society's maintenance and security departments; residents should collaborate with the society's security team to find a solution.
