Today, on Sunday, January 14, 2024, the team from Pahal Welfare Foundation distributed hundreds of blankets to the poor and needy in the Gautam Buddha Nagar area—specifically in the park near Paramount Golf Forest Society, Greater Noida—to protect them from the ongoing severe cold wave gripping North India. Additionally, on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, *Khichdi* was distributed to hundreds of people at the park near 14th Avenue, Gaur City, and near the intersection of Shri Radha Sky Garden, Greater Noida West.
D.K. Singh, the organization's President, stated that the cold this January has been unexpectedly severe, causing great hardship for the poor living in slum settlements; consequently, the organization once again distributed warm blankets. Furthermore, upholding its annual tradition, the organization distributed *Khichdi* to thousands of people on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.
Atendra Chauhan, the organization's General Secretary, noted that for the past few years, the foundation has been running a blanket distribution drive starting in December to provide relief from the biting cold to the poor and needy.
Hundreds of members were present at today's event, including Pahal Welfare Foundation President D.K. Singh, Atendra Chauhan, Ashutosh Srivastava, Sameer Khosa, Thakur K.P. Singh, A.P. Sisodia, Ashok Rana, Ramnarayan Tripathi, Pankaj Sisodia, Dinesh Mishra, Priya Singh, and Hemen Singh.
