Today, on September 1, 2024 (Sunday), an 'Annadaan-Shreshthdaan' program was organized in Sector-10 (Greater Noida West) under the aegis of the Pahal Welfare Foundation and the Arihant Abode family to mark the birth celebrations of Lord Shri Krishna. During the event, *Kadhi-Chawal* (yogurt-based curry with rice)—sanctified as *Prasad* for the *Chhathi* (sixth-day celebration) of Lord Krishna—was distributed, and thousands of devotees from the surrounding areas partook of the offering.
Hindu tradition has long upheld the practice of offering *Prasad* at temples or before the idols of deities. Upholding this tradition, the Pahal organization has pledged to regularly conduct 'Annadaan-Shreshthdaan' programs in Greater Noida West, with events scheduled to take place in underprivileged settlements on Sundays each month.
