Second Free Pilgrimage Organized by 'Pahal' Organization to Shri Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Balaji
Under the aegis of the Pahal Welfare Foundation, a 56-member group departed from Gaur City, Greater Noida West, on Saturday, November 25th, for a pilgrimage to Khatu Shyam Ji, accompanied by chants of "Shyam Baba Ki Jai." The second free pilgrimage was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Mr. N.P. Singh, President of DDRWA. Mr. Singh offered sweets to the devotees, draped the sacred *patka* (stole) of the deity around their necks, and extended his best wishes for the journey. Praising the organization's consistent philanthropic efforts, he remarked that the Pahal Welfare Foundation is continuously working for the welfare of Gautam Buddha Nagar and that every member of the organization deserves commendation. Under the leadership of Mr. D.K. Singh, the Pahal organization is currently playing a pioneering role in these endeavors. The free pilgrimage to Shri Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Balaji concluded successfully this morning, Monday, November 27th, amidst chants hailing Shyam Baba. During the journey, all devotees had the opportunity to offer prayers at both Shri Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Balaji. Mr. Sachin Sharma—a devotee of Shri Khatu Shyam Ji and the owner of Om Saraswati Developer Pvt. Ltd.—played a pivotal role; the group pilgrimage would not have been possible without his support, and he truly embodied the spirit of a devoted follower of Shri Khatu Shyam Ji. Consequently, the pilgrims not only blessed the organizers but also prayed for their bright future. The journey was further enriched by the melodious singing of *bhajans* (devotional songs) dedicated to Khatu Naresh and Balaji Maharaj, presented primarily through the courtesy of Mr. Divyak Shastri. D.K. Singh, President of the Pahal Welfare Foundation, announced that the organization would soon launch another such free pilgrimage tour, in keeping with its commitment. The objective of these tours is to enable devotees to take time out of their busy family lives to visit religious sites in a group, while also expanding the Pahal organization by welcoming new devotees. Interested devotees can join the organization via its website: www.pahalwelfarefoundation.org/membership/. For several years, the organization has been consistently conducting various welfare programs, including free pilgrimage tours to religious sites, providing basic education to underprivileged children, distributing clothing and food to the needy, organizing tree plantation drives for environmental protection, distributing blankets to street vendors, supporting old-age homes and orphanages, and providing food supplies to flood-affected families. Attendees at this free pilgrimage tour included Pahal Welfare Foundation President D.K. Singh, along with devotees of Shri Banke Bihari Ji such as Sachin Sharma, Sameer Khosa, Divyak Shastri, Laxman Sharma, Jagjit Bansal, Arun Kumar Pandey, Ram Narayan Tripathi, Priya Singh, and Ravindra.
