Bulandshahr. "A sapling is planted not merely in the soil, but in the breath of the future." Embodying this sentiment, the Pahal Welfare Foundation conveyed an inspiring message of environmental conservation by launching a massive tree plantation drive across the districts of Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, and Gautam Buddha Nagar. Under this campaign, approximately 1,000 saplings were planted at 12 different locations. Office bearers, state and district teams, volunteers, youth, women, and local citizens participated enthusiastically in this public campaign, pledging to build a greener future.
During the drive, various shade-giving and eco-friendly saplings—including Mango, Neem, Peepal, Banyan, Arjun, and Jamun—were planted. The participants did not limit themselves to merely planting the saplings; they also vowed to protect them and provide regular care until they matured into full-grown trees. The campaign's objective went beyond simply increasing greenery; it aimed to instill a sense of environmental responsibility among the general public.
Mr. Munesh Tevatiya, the organization's State President, stated, "Making the earth green is a collective responsibility. If every citizen plants and nurtures at least one sapling annually, a significant shift towards environmental balance is possible. Trees are our most valuable gift to future generations."
Mr. D.K. Singh, Founder and National President of the Pahal Welfare Foundation, remarked, "Climate change poses a serious global challenge today. In such times, tree plantation is not just a social obligation but a service to humanity. Our goal is not merely to plant saplings for photo opportunities but to protect them until they grow into trees. At the conclusion of the event, State General Secretary Mr. Shakeel Ahmed expressed gratitude to all the office bearers, volunteers, social organizations, and local citizens who made the campaign a success, noting that such initiatives succeed only through public participation. They appealed to everyone to plant at least one sapling annually and to take responsibility for its care.
