A school bag, and a reason to stay in class

A school bag, and a reason to stay in class

Dropping out is rarely a decision. It is an accumulation of small shortages — a torn bag, a missing set of notebooks, a uniform that no longer fits — that add up until staying in school feels like the family's least affordable option.

Pahal's education drives work on exactly those small shortages. Study material, notebooks, stationery and school kits go directly to children in low-income households across Greater Noida, handed over at community points rather than mailed to a list. Hundreds of students have received complete sets — enough to remove the excuse that keeps a child at home.

It is not scholarship money and it is not charity staged for a photograph. It is the specific, unglamorous thing that lets a nine-year-old walk back into class on Monday with everything the other children have.

A set of study material costs less than a family dinner out. Your support keeps a child exactly where they belong — learning.
