A sapling is planted not only in the soil, but in the breath of the future. Acting on that thought, Pahal Welfare Foundation ran a large plantation campaign across the districts of Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar, carrying an inspiring message of environmental protection.
Around 1,000 saplings were planted at 12 locations in the district under the campaign. At the village school, students planted alongside our volunteers and each took home a sapling of their own to look after — turning a one-day drive into a year-round responsibility.
State President Munesh Tevatia said that making the earth green is a shared responsibility of us all.
Founder and National President D.K. Singh said that climate change today is a serious challenge before the entire world. At such a time, plantation is not merely a social duty — it is a service to humanity.
At the close of the programme, State General Secretary Shakeel Ahmad thanked all the office-bearers, volunteers, social organisations and local citizens who made the campaign a success.
Volunteers, women, social workers and a large number of children planted around 1,100 saplings at seven locations across Bulandshahr and Gautam Buddha Nagar — mango, neem, peepal, banyan, arjun and jamun. The children pledged to adopt the saplings they planted.
From 20 to 23 July 2025 at Salempur on the national highway in Bulandshahr, thousands of devotees were hosted with rest, food and a doctors' team through the Sawan kavad yatra.
As every year, the foundation distributed blankets across Greater Noida from the first day of January — in jhuggi settlements, to temple priests, roadside labourers and vendors.
