130 vaccinated at 14th Avenue as the fourth wave builds

At 14th Avenue in Gaur City, 130 people of the society received the covid vaccine at a free vaccination camp organised by the CHC government hospital and Pahal Welfare Foundation. Alongside it, free routine immunisation was arranged for small children — from zero to five years of age.

In view of the rising covid infection and the fourth wave in Delhi-NCR, the foundation organised the free vaccination camp in the society on Saturday 16 April with the cooperation of CHC Bisrakh.

Foundation president D.K. Singh said covid cases had again begun to rise, and schools were being closed after infections were found among children. The camp was therefore set up in the society so residents could be protected from the fourth wave.

He added that from the point of view of safety, free vaccination drives were being run continuously and in large numbers for residents of different societies in Greater Noida West — including the domestic helpers working in local homes, cleaning staff, the workers who wash cars in the society, and all other people in need.

D.K. Singh, H.N. Goyal, D.S. Pundir, Ankur Vaish, Prashant Awasthi, Himanshu Singh and other volunteer members were present at the mega camp at 14th Avenue society.
