At the Saikripa orphanage in Sector 12, Noida, Pahal Welfare Foundation distributed free blankets to poor and needy children.
The distribution was carried out under the leadership of foundation president D.K. Singh, who said that severe cold sets in across this region at the end of December. The organisation's team distributes blankets among those in need as protection from that cold, so that children can get relief from it.
Present on the occasion were president D.K. Singh, vice-president Anil Chauhan, general secretary Atender Chauhan, Rajeev Chatterjee, R.N. Tripathi, Ravindra Kumar, Tilak Chand, Krishnakant Singh and Mahavir Singh, among many others.
Volunteers, women, social workers and a large number of children planted around 1,100 saplings at seven locations across Bulandshahr and Gautam Buddha Nagar — mango, neem, peepal, banyan, arjun and jamun. The children pledged to adopt the saplings they planted.
Around 1,000 saplings were planted at 12 locations across the district, part of a drive spanning Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar — with school children planting alongside our volunteers.
From 20 to 23 July 2025 at Salempur on the national highway in Bulandshahr, thousands of devotees were hosted with rest, food and a doctors' team through the Sawan kavad yatra.
